New Scrapbook Club Forming!

It's been awhile, but I'm ready to start up a club again. I have met a few scrapbookers here on Island and I've heard that some of you haven't really scrapbooked since I left the States!? And here's some art that I've created lately. I plan on putting our flight photos and first few excursions on these pages. Just have to find the local Walgreens....hee-hee! :)

So Much To Say...

Commissioning Ceremony in KC.

First, I have been BUSY! Some of you know what's been going on with me, some of you don't. A lot has happened with us since my last post. Last fall, my husband was commissioned as a Navy Chaplain. We were given 6 different choices of duty stations. Not really knowing if we would get our first choice, we chose Okinawa, Japan. So here we are!

I also started homeschooling last fall for the first time. I have 4 kids, but only 3 are school age. Still, it was....time-consuming. :)

Now we're all settled in off-base housing. We are all finally making friends and finding our niche here. We are loving it, of course!

But with the new CTMH Idea Book coming out next month, I'm ready to get scrapbooking again. I just have not had time for it lately. There are a few things to be excited about-- a NEW CTMH Cricut Cartridge called Artiste, several different workshops (home decor!), and many, many stamp sets.

In Honor of Our First Snow

Here's a layout I made last year, if not 2 years ago. I got the paper from my friends' store-- Paper Dreams. I stamped a lot of the snowflakes with CTMH ink. I used red glittery ribbon and an assortment of brads on this layout. I believe the stamp set is called Ice Crystals.

Now about my friends' store... They are going out of business and are having a 25% off sale. I'm planning on taking a few friends over there tonight to do some shopping.
